Synopsis
While vacationing on a luxurious private yacht, Ranma Saotome, Akane Tendo, and their eccentric martial arts companions are caught in a violent supernatural storm. Their vessel is shipwrecked on the legendary floating island of Togenkyo, an enchanted paradise governed by Prince Toma. Desperate to find a royal bride who can fulfill an ancient prophesy, Prince Toma and his demonic henchmen kidnap Akane and the other girls on the island. Armed with magical life-spring water that turns men into beasts, Prince Toma prepares a grand wedding ceremony, forcing Ranma to stage a desperate rescue.
⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Ranma and his martial arts rivals Ryoga, Mousse, and Genma battle Toma's illusion masters across the island's mystical peach gardens. Ranma discovers that Toma relies on the miraculous Water of Illusion, which temporarily neutralizes curses. Reaching the floating temple, Ranma confronts Prince Toma in a chaotic martial arts duel, but Toma uses life-stealing ki attacks that drain Ranma's energy. Akane leaps in front of Toma's blade to protect Ranma. Infuriated, Ranma unleashes the Moko Takabisha blast, shattering Toma's magical core and sinking the enchanted island while escaping on a makeshift raft.
