While human trainers Satoshi, Kasumi, and Takeshi take a relaxing midday nap, their companion creatures are granted an uninhibited afternoon of fun at Pokemon Ocean, a resort playground built exclusively for monsters. Eager to enjoy the sunny park, Pikachu, Fushigidane, and Zenigame struggle to keep tiny baby Togepi quiet and asleep. Their peaceful vacation is abruptly disrupted when a boisterous rival squad of monsters, led by a haughty Raichu, a bullying Bulu, and a mischievous Karakara, invades the playground. Setting aside petty athletic rivalries, the monsters join forces to rescue Charizard when his neck gets wedged inside a jungle gym pipe.
