Story

Synopsis

This film covers an early engagement in the long war between the Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance, following Reinhard von Musel before he became Lohengramm as he takes command against a numerically superior force. Yang Wen-li, still a junior officer, demonstrates the tactical thinking that will define his career. Both men are constrained by superiors who understand nothing about the situations they create, and the film establishes the institutional rot that shapes the entire subsequent saga.
