Urusei Yatsura Movie 5: Kanketsu-hen · 1988
Ataru and Lum play one last cosmic game of tag.
Serving as the grand conclusion to Rumiko Takahashi's beloved sci-fi romantic comedy, the film begins when an eccentric dark prince named Rupa arrives from the shadowy parallel planet of Upa. Rupa claims that due to a forgotten childhood betrothal contract signed by Lum's grandfather, Lum is legally destined to become his bride. When Lum tests Ataru Moroboshi's stubborn pride and Ataru refuses to say I love you, an offended Lum departs Earth with Rupa. Rupa challenges Ataru to a high-stakes, planetary game of tag: if Ataru cannot grab Lum's horns, Earth's memories of Lum will be erased.
