Story

Synopsis

Following the catastrophic fall of the Demon King Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Japan enters a tense transitional power struggle during the Sengoku era. Date Masamune, the One-Eyed Dragon of Oshu, and his eternal rival Sanada Yukimura find their path toward national unification challenged by Ishida Mitsunari, Hideyoshi's grief-stricken, rage-fueled general who vows to slaughter Masamune in bloody revenge. Meanwhile, Tokugawa Ieyasu campaigns across the provinces promoting an era of peace through the bond of human hearts, organizing the ultimate clash of arms at the fateful Battle of Sekigahara.

The shadowy sorcerer Tenkai manipulates Mitsunari's burning fury to conduct a blood sacrifice across the battlefield, resurrecting Nobunaga as a demonic abomination from the underworld. Warlords set aside their rivalries as Date Masamune, Sanada Yukimura, Tokugawa Ieyasu, and Ishida Mitsunari unite their supreme elemental attacks against Nobunaga. Obliterating the resurrected Demon King, Ieyasu and Mitsunari resolve their ideological conflict. With peace restored to feudal Japan, Masamune and Yukimura share an exhilarating, open-ended cavalry clash on the horizon, joyfully celebrating their eternal warrior rivalry across the open plains of Sengoku Japan.
