Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: Life That Burns

The second installment of the theatrical recap compilation chronicles the harrowing climax of the survival steampunk series. The armored steam locomotive Kotetsujyo arrives at the fortified shogun capital of Kongokaku, where humanity's elite ruling class resides behind colossal defensive walls. However, their salvation turns into an apocalyptic massacre when charismatic rebel commander Biba Amatori and his Hunters infiltrate the capital. Harboring deep hatred toward his father the Shogun, Biba deliberately infects the metropolis with virulent Kabane blood, transforming Kongokaku into a burning inferno of undead carnage.
