Synopsis

This compilation film covers the Survey Corps expedition beyond the walls and the appearance of the Female Titan, an intelligent enemy who moves with clear purpose and targets Eren specifically. Levi's squad is forced into an operation with impossible losses, and the realization that some titans are human beings with plans and loyalties fundamentally reframes what the war actually is. The forest sequence and its aftermath are among the series' most brutal, and the film condenses them into sustained, unrelenting pressure. Every loss here is permanent, and the series makes no attempt to soften it.

⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Produced by Wit Studio and adapted from Hajime Isayama's manga, this compilation film recuts the second half of Attack on Titan's first season for theatrical release. The franchise became one of the most globally significant anime of its decade, driven by escalating revelations that repeatedly reframe its premise and by an unusually uncompromising willingness to kill sympathetic characters. Its Female Titan arc is widely regarded as the point where the series established that its world operates on politics and conspiracy rather than simple survival horror.
