Best Attack on Titan Characters, Ranked

Not strongest. Best. There's a difference, and no cast in anime proves it harder than this one.

Ok, quick note before we start. This list is best, not strongest. That's deliberate.

Here's why. In most shonen, strength is earned. In Attack on Titan, strength is mostly inherited, stolen, or injected into you by people who never asked your permission. Eren didn't train for the Founding Titan, he was fed it. Reiner didn't choose to be the Armored Titan at twelve, he was raised to want it. Ranking this cast by raw power would be like ranking people by the size of their inheritance. Not very interesting, is it.

What Attack on Titan does better than almost anything else is make you love people and then make you watch. Levi is humanity's strongest soldier and its loneliest man, and those two facts turn out to be the same fact. Erwin sent thousands to die and rode at the front every time. Reiner is a war criminal you end up feeling sorry for. Annie is a villain you'd have a drink with. And Sasha just wanted to eat.

So vote for who mattered. Upvote the ones you'd go to war for, downvote the ones you think the fandom overrates. The order is whatever the community decides.
