Story

Synopsis

Before they became enemies, Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto were high school classmates assigned to escort Riko Amanai, a girl designated as the Star Plasma Vessel and destined to be sacrificed. Pursued by a religious cult and rival curse users, the two strongest students alive are the only sorcerers capable of the job. What happens during that mission sets both their destinies permanently, and it explains precisely how two friends ended up on opposite sides of everything that follows. Every choice they make here becomes something the franchise never stops paying for.

This film is a theatrical presentation of the acclaimed Hidden Inventory and Premature Death arc from Jujutsu Kaisen's second season, released in Japanese theaters in March 2025 with remastered sound and additional content, followed by a GKIDS English dub release that July.
