Hey, you. Yes, you, the one who has argued about whether Gojo is really the strongest. Let's settle it. Or at least let's fight about it properly.

Jujutsu Kaisen has the most brutally honest power system in modern shonen. Cursed energy is not friendship. It doesn't spike because you shouted your best friend's name at the sky. It comes from negative emotion, and the more of it you carry, the more you get to throw. Cheerful people are weak here. Sorry.

Which is why ranking this cast is such a beautiful mess. Sukuna is the ceiling. A curse so strong they couldn't destroy him, only chop him into twenty fingers and hope nobody was stupid enough to eat one. Somebody was. Then there's Gojo, sitting so far above everyone else that the plot is just people working out how to get him out of the room.

Underneath those two it gets strange. Toji had no cursed energy at all and killed Special Grades anyway. Maki gave hers up and became something scarier. Hakari built a slot machine, and it works.
