Biography
Kei Ajiki is a Japanese animator and character designer whose career centers on animation direction across a wide range of television anime. Ajiki worked extensively on the Monogatari franchise, serving as episode director and storyboard artist on entries including Monogatari Series: Second Season (2013) and Koyomimonogatari (2016), and continued in similar roles on spin-offs such as RWBY: Ice Queendom and the Magia Record series [1]. Ajiki also holds key animation and assistant animation director credits on major franchises including Death Note, Bleach, Ouran High School Host Club, Soul Eater, and Psycho-Pass, and contributed key animation to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Mugen Train (2020) [1]. In the 2010s and 2020s, Ajiki moved into character design and chief animation direction, designing characters for the Strike Witches spin-off World Witches Take Off! and for the original golf series Birdie Wing: Golf Girls' Story (2022-2023), also serving as its chief animation director [1].
