Girls und Panzer Watch Order: The TV Series, the Film and Every Das Finale Part, in order
“Every Girls und Panzer series, film, special and tank lesson in release order, with the eight essentials flagged.”
Tank battles as a high school club activity sounds like a joke. It isn't, and it has produced 27 titles on Lifehaki. Luckily, only eight of them carry the story.
The main line is short. Start with the 12-episode TV series from 2012, then watch the 2015 film Girls und Panzer der Film. After that comes Das Finale, a six-part film series released from 2017: Parts 1 to 4 are out, Part 5 is listed for October 2026 and Part 6 for 2027. (Lifehaki lists the same series under both "das Finale" and "Saishuushou", which is the Japanese word for "final chapter".)
So what about the other 19? Answer: bonus material. The Akiyama Yukari tank courses are short lessons about real tanks, and the picture dramas, news clips and recaps are skippable. A few specials and the Anzio OVA are optional, and so is Motto Love Love Sakusen, a 12-episode comedy spin-off adapted from a manga. Think of the tank courses as a guided museum tour: educational, never required.
At the end: the TV series, the film, Das Finale Parts 1 to 4, then Parts 5 and 6 as they arrive.
