Story

Synopsis

Crushed by a falling vending machine in modern Japan, a dedicated machine enthusiast awakens in an unfamiliar dungeon lake, transformed into an automated coin-operated dispenser. Unable to move on his own and restricted to pre-recorded customer greetings, his survival looks grim until a super-strong hunter girl named Lammis discovers him. Nicknamed Boxxo, he communicates by vending emergency rations, canned beverages, and hot meals to hungry explorers. When Lammis straps him to her back, Boxxo joins her hunting party, utilizing innovative mechanical adaptations, defensive barriers, and tactical tool dispensations to assist adventurers against ferocious monsters.

Based on Hirukuma's quirky light novel series illustrated by Itsuwa Katou, this comedic fantasy adaptation was co-produced by Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ, directed by Noriaki Akitaya.
