Story

Synopsis

Set during the peaceful interlude following the defeat of the Wolgarm mabeasts in Irlam Village and prior to the royal selection ceremony, Subaru Natsuki undertakes his most perilous mission yet: planning a perfect romantic date with his beloved Emilia. However, an unseasonably frigid cold snap suddenly strikes the Roswaal mansion, covering the courtyards in deep snow and ice. Investigating the source of the freezing temperatures, Subaru discovers that the Great Spirit Puck is undergoing a magical release period, emitting uncontrollable mana that threatens to freeze the entire estate into an icy wasteland.

Refusing to let the freezing weather ruin his domestic happiness, Subaru proposes transforming the mansion grounds into an extravagant winter snow festival. Subaru organizes snow sculpture competitions, snowball fights, and hot stew banquets for the villagers, Rem, Ram, and Beatrice. Puck expends his excess mana harmlessly creating an artificial aurora and snow slides across the forest. Celebrating together around the bonfire, Subaru and Emilia share a warm, intimate conversation in the snow, finally going on their long-awaited romantic date and bringing warmth to the chilly winter night.
