Story

Synopsis

In an alternate timeline eighty years in the future, military dictator Hibiki believes that Raimon Junior High's victory in the Football Frontier made future generations weak and emotional. To eradicate soccer from history, he dispatches Team Ogre, an elite paramilitary soccer squad led by the merciless Captain Baddap Sleed, back to the past. Team Ogre infiltrates the Football Frontier finals, brutally hospitalizing Zeus Junior High and challenging Mamoru Endo's Raimon squad to a high-stakes match to determine the fate of the sport and the world.

⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Team Ogre's devastating, cybernetically enhanced shots overwhelm Raimon, injuring key defenders and pushing Endo's team to the brink of defeat. In the darkest hour, Kanon Endo, Mamoru's great-grandson from the future, arrives alongside guest aces Fubuki, Hiroto, Tobitaka, and Toramaru to reinforce Raimon. Endo awakens his ultimate goalkeeping technique, Omega the Hand, to deflect Baddap's Death Break shot. Scoring the dramatic winning goal, Raimon proves to Captain Baddap that soccer is built on genuine human passion rather than militaristic warfare, prompting Team Ogre to withdraw peacefully back to their timeline.
