Synopsis

Living in the tranquil city of Asahikawa in Hokkaido, high school student Shotaro Tatewaki finds himself regularly dragged along on nature excursions with Sakurako Kujo. Sakurako is an eccentric, wealthy beauty possessing an obsessive passion for osteology, the scientific study of bones. When the duo stumbles upon human skeletal remains during forest walks and beach strolls, Sakurako applies her peerless forensic knowledge, bone anatomy deduction, and acute observation to reconstruct the victim final moments. Together with local law enforcement, they uncover cold cases, family tragedies, and sinister murders hidden beneath buried bones.
