Tonikawa Watch Order: Season 1, 2 and Every Special in Order, in order
“Tonikawa's two seasons and four extras in release order, with the recap flagged as skippable.”
Most romance anime end at the wedding. Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You starts with it. That's also why the watch order is so relaxed: there's no mystery to protect and no timeline to untangle. There are six titles on Lifehaki, and release order is the order.
Start with Season 1 (2020), then Season 2 (2023). In between sit four extras: a recap special, the SNS OVA, the Uniform special and the four-episode High School Days web series. So do you need them? Answer: no. They're optional visits with the couple, and the recap special adds nothing new if you've watched Season 1. Think of them as extra days of marriage: lovely, never required.
At the end: Season 1, Season 2, then the extras whenever you want more.
Season 1 (2020-2021)
Start here. Nasa proposes to a stranger and she accepts, and the series follows the marriage afterward. 12 episodes, fall 2020.
A 23-minute recap special from December 2020.
This is a compilation of Season 1, so it adds nothing if you've just watched the season.
Season 2 (2022-2023)
A 22-minute special from November 2022, released before Season 2.
Direct continuation of Season 1. 12 episodes, spring 2023.
Four 23-minute web episodes from July to August 2023.
