Oregairu Watch Order: Season 1, TOO!, Climax! and Every OVA, in order
“Every Oregairu season and OVA in release order, with the three bonus OVAs flagged.”
Youth is a lie, according to Hachiman Hikigaya. Your watch order, thankfully, is the honest kind. There are six titles on Lifehaki: three TV seasons and three OVAs, and the order is plain release order.
Start with My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU (2013), then TOO! (2015), then Climax! (2020). Each season picks up where the last one stopped, so there's no jumping around. Studio Brain's Base made the first season and feel. took over from TOO! onward, so the look changes a little. (Don't worry, the cynicism doesn't.)
Do you need the OVAs? Answer: no. Each season has a one-episode OVA that follows it, in 2013, 2016 and 2023. They're bonus visits with the Service Club, so think of them as the extra scene after the credits.
At the end: Season 1, TOO!, Climax!, with the OVAs wherever you like.
Season 1 (2013)
Start here. Hachiman is sentenced to the Service Club and meets Yukino and Yui. 13 episodes, spring 2013.
TOO! (2015-2016)
Direct continuation of Season 1, now by studio feel. 13 episodes, spring 2015.
Season 1 was made by Brain's Base, and feel. took over from here. The story carries straight on, so the studio change doesn't affect the order.
Climax! (2020-2023)
A 23-minute OVA from April 2023, the franchise's most recent entry.
