Synopsis
In the fifth chapter of the six-part theatrical series, the brutal war between mutated human Attractors and the secret cyborg military organization Custos reaches a fever pitch. In the subterranean botanical sanctuary of the Orchard, immortal protector Quon Miduchi continues to heal and guide newly awakened teenage Attractors. However, Custos commander Genji Kamishiro deploys the upgraded WTOC cyborg hounds, equipped with specialized neural frequency jammers designed to disrupt mutant abilities. When Custos forces locate the entrance to the Orchard, Quon must unleash his supreme combat form to hold off an overwhelming military raid.
⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Cyborg operative Epsilon, formerly the human boy Shun Kazami, experiences emotional conflict after remembering his deceased sister, turning against his fellow Custos hounds to protect Quon. Kamishiro captures Quon's telepathic brother Towa, intending to use his primordial psionic energy to power an automated extermination grid across Tokyo. Quon and Epsilon mount a joint counteroffensive, fighting through waves of cybernetic enforcers. Quon rescues his comrades from the burning Orchard, but Kamishiro hooks Towa up to the Custos core mainframe, setting the stage for the final battle for mutant liberation.
