Returning home exhausted from another grueling day of corporate overtime in Tokyo, twenty-something office worker Sei Takanashi is engulfed by a magical circle and summoned to the Kingdom of Salutania. The realm's grand ritual was meant to summon a legendary Saint to purge miasma, but the spell accidentally transports two women. The kingdom's arrogant prince immediately favors the other summoned high school girl, completely ignoring Sei. Relieved to avoid court drama, Sei leaves the royal palace and joins the Medicinal Flora Research Institute. Brewing herbal remedies, cosmetics, and potions, Sei discovers that her modern efficiency and hidden magical potency create fifty-percent stronger concoctions, gradually catching the attention of handsome Knight Commander Albert Hawke.
