The Chosen One

Arriving in Guangzhou for his freshman year of university, ordinary student Gao Ying seeks budget lodging at the rundown Great Qing Hotel in historic Nanting Village. His stay takes a terrifying turn when he stumbles into gruesome occult rituals and accidentally unseals Prince Zhennan Yinting, an imperial general entombed for hundreds of years. Dragged into an apocalyptic conflict involving shamanic curses, grotesque parasitic monsters, and the ancient deity Tai Sui, Gao Ying must rely on Yinting's martial prowess and his own wits to survive the urban nightmare.
