Synopsis

Set in a distant galactic era where the legendary Jedi Order has faded into near myth, young Kara aids her father, a master armorer forging lightsabers attuned to the moral alignment of their wielders. When ruthless hunters attack her family sanctuary to seize the sacred weapons, Kara must flee across the stars to deliver the blades to a clandestine assembly summoned by Margrave Juro. Uniting with untested Force-sensitive initiates, she confronts cunning saboteurs and awakens her own latent swordsmanship to ignite a new spark of galactic justice.

Background (may contain spoilers)

Expanding upon the beloved short from the initial *Star Wars: Visions* anthology, *Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi* is an eight-episode animated television series produced by Production I.G under license from Lucasfilm. Supervised by creative director Kenji Kamiyama and directed by Shunsuke Tada, the production features rich science-fiction worldbuilding, cinematic musical scoring, and masterfully animated lightsaber duels, cementing a distinct Japanese anime interpretation within the iconic space opera franchise.
