Across the globe, thousands of young sleeping children are hypnotized by magical flute music in the dead of night and kidnapped by winged child fairies. In Tokyo, Chibiusa befriends a gentle fairy boy named Perle, who has grown disillusioned with his evil mistress, Queen Badiane. Queen Badiane traps the world's children inside floating dream coffins, siphoning their innocent dream energy to expand the Black Dream Hole, an apocalyptic cosmic vortex designed to swallow planet Earth into an eternal nightmare. When Chibiusa is abducted, Usagi Tsukino and the Sailor Guardians mobilize to stop Badiane.
⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Sailor Moon and the Inner Guardians pursue Badiane to her floating Marzipan Castle, where they are overwhelmed by dark candy soldiers. Fortunately, the Outer Guardians, Sailor Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, arrive to reinforce the team. Badiane merges with the expanding Black Dream Hole, dragging Chibiusa into the vortex. Sailor Moon leaps into the cosmic abyss, channeling the Moon Crisis power alongside Perle and Chibiusa. Their united radiant dream power vaporizes Queen Badiane and dissolves the Black Dream Hole. Returning safely to Earth, Chibiusa shares a tender farewell kiss with Perle before he flies home.
A fun, enjoyable, average Sailor Moon romp. Subtract two stars if you REALLY hate Chibi-Usa, or add one star if you REALLY missed the Outer Scouts during Super S TV.
