Synopsis
In elementary school, solitary boy Kotarou Kawai poured his love and care into sculpting a harmless blob of chemical slime, miraculously bringing the amorphous creature to life. Seven years later, his creation Puniru has morphed into an exuberant, shapeshifting girl whose primary obsession is being praised as the cutest entity on Earth. Now a reserved middle schooler hoping to impress his classroom crush, Kotarou spends every day exasperated by Puniru's chaotic transformations, eccentric mood swings, and ridiculous antics. Despite his constant deadpan scolding, their unbreakable bond anchors every comical domestic disaster.

Puniru Is a Kawaii Slime is throwback to the mid-late 2000s, when we had an abundance of slice of life comedies focusing on a tsundere boy and an overly hyperactive girl.
