Synopsis
Serious and disciplined high school student Hayato Izumi runs for student council president, fully expecting an easy victory. His dreams are thoroughly crushed when outgoing rival Ui Wakana sweeps the election by giving out condoms and promising complete campus romantic liberation. Settling begrudgingly into the role of vice president, Hayato is stunned when Ui unexpectedly arrives at his apartment that same evening, announcing that their parents arranged their marriage during infancy. Forced into secret cohabitation, the uptight Hayato must resist Ui's brazen romantic advances while keeping their marital status hidden from inquisitive schoolmates.

Adapted from Yumi Nakata's popular romantic comedy ecchi manga, *Okusama ga Seitokaichou!* was animated by studio Seven and directed by Hiroyuki Furukawa, broadcasting in summer 2015. Spanning twelve short-form ten-minute episodes, the television series garnered attention for its high-tempo physical comedy, suggestive fan-service situations, and playful chemistry between Ayane Sakura and Kazuyuki Okitsu. The anime proved to be a commercial hit among late-night comedy fans, spawning an OVA and a second television season the following year.

It's a pretty weak three star, but it did something pretty original -- approached the subject of sex in a rather sensible and nonjudgemental manner -- so three it gets.

Season 2
I did consider still granting it three stars, but the lack of focus on the important parts drags it down some. Sorry, everyone; I really wanted to like this season as much as the first one, but....
