Modest Heroes

This imaginative cinematic anthology showcases three distinct animated fables honoring everyday resilience. In the first tale, tiny underwater crab siblings Kanini and Kanino embark on a perilous aquatic journey downstream to rescue their missing father from predatory fish. In the second, a loving mother and her energetic young son confront the terrifying, life-threatening daily dangers of a severe egg allergy. In the final tale, an invisible, weightless man walks through Tokyo unnoticed by bustling crowds, struggling with existential isolation until an act of quiet bravery gives his life meaning. Together, the stories celebrate small, modest triumphs of the human spirit.
