Synopsis

Following harrowing atmospheric re-entry down to Earth, Kamille Bidan and the AEUG resistance coordinate tactical operations with subterranean guerrilla movement Karaba. In scorched terrestrial warzones, Kamille meets Four Murasame, a cybernetically enhanced Newtype pilot suffering severe induced amnesia and military conditioning by the Titans. As genuine romantic passion sparks between the two troubled youths, Kamille discovers Four is ordered to pilot the devastating transformable mobile armor Psycho Gundam against them. Forcing his custom MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam into combat, Kamille fights desperately to save Four from catastrophic mental manipulation.

Released theatrically in October 2005 under Sunrise, this second compilation installment was directed and re-edited by Yoshiyuki Tomino. Blending enhanced classic footage with approximately thirty percent freshly animated high-definition scenes, the movie focuses heavily on the bittersweet, tragic romance between Kamille Bidan and Four Murasame. Featuring modernized acoustic and mechanical sound mixing and an emotional theme song by pop artist Gackt, the production delivers an impactful, cinematic exploration of human connection amidst militaristic dehumanization.
