Story

Synopsis

Serving as the direct climax to the Reflection storyline, this high-octane theatrical feature continues the interdimensional conflict between Earth's magical defenders and the artificial lifeforms of planet Eltria. Rogue artificial intelligence Yuri manipulates Iris into deploying ancient planetary terraforming superweapons, aiming to drain Earth's life force to regenerate their dying world. Nanoha Takamachi, Fate Testarossa, and Hayate Yagami combine their magical arsenals with Amitie Florian, deploying advanced Formula armor and high-output booster drives to counter Iris's overwhelming legion of combat automatons in the skies over Tokyo.

Iris's central processor is revealed to be corrupted by the malevolent consciousness of Phil Maxwell, a megalomaniacal ancient scientist who used the girls as biological weapons. Nanoha equips the prototype Buster Cannon formula upgrade, pushing her body past physical endurance limits. In a cataclysmic orbital duel, Nanoha blasts through Maxwell's defensive barrier, shattering the tyrant's avatar. Nanoha and Amitie reach out to Iris and Yuri, freeing them from the cybernetic curse. Iris dissolves peacefully into stardust, while Eltria's terraforming data is secured to revitalize the planet through legitimate cooperation.
