Story

Synopsis

Following the brutal conclusion of the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne, Suguru Kinnikuman has finally ascended to the throne of Planet Kinniku, ushering in a historic era of peace. In Tokyo, representatives of the Justice Choujin, Devil Choujin, and Perfect Choujin gather to sign an unprecedented tripartite non-aggression peace treaty. However, the treaty ceremony is shattered when the Perfect Large Numbers, an extremist vanguard faction of the Perfect Origin, descend from the heavens. Declaring that contemporary choujin have disgraced their divine heritage through weakness, the ancient perfectionist warriors demand the eradication of all imperfect wrestlers. Forced back into the squared circle, Kinnikuman and his veteran allies must wage high-stakes ring battles to protect the universe.

⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc (Kinnikuman: Kanpeki Choujin Shiso-hen) is a television anime series produced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the legendary shounen wrestling anime franchise created by Yudetamago. Animated by Production I.G and directed by Akira Sato with series composition by Makoto Fukami, the series premiered in July 2024 on CBC and TBS's Agaru Anime block. Featuring modern high-octane wrestling animation and Mamoru Miyano taking over the iconic voice of Kinnikuman, the revival was hailed by longtime fans as a triumphant return to classic shounen sports action.
