Synopsis

High school friends Saki Hyuga and Mai Mishou are running through town on their way to participate in a local singing competition when they encounter an eccentric traveler searching for the town's oldest antique clock. Unbeknownst to the girls, the vintage timepiece serves as an enchanted portal leading directly into the magical Clock World. The strange traveler is revealed to be Sirloin, a ruthless operative of the villainous Dark Fall organization plotting to stop the cosmic Infinity Clock and freeze all time. Transforming into Cure Bloom and Cure Egret, the heroines battle across ticking labyrinths.

Background (may contain spoilers)

Toei Animation produced this energetic fifty-minute magical girl theatrical feature, released in Japanese cinemas in December 2006. Directed by Junji Shimizu with a script by Yoshimi Narita, the movie served as the theatrical spin-off to the third television installment of Toei's flagship *Pretty Cure* franchise. The production showcased dynamic hand-drawn martial arts combat sequences, colorful magical attacks, and imaginative clockwork labyrinth backgrounds. Featuring beloved vocal performances from Orie Kimoto as Saki and Atsuko Enomoto as Mai, the movie delighted young audiences with its spirited themes of friendship, perseverance, and harmony.
