Adapted from Tuo Xiaoxin's blockbuster fantasy manhua, *Huyao Xiao Hongniang 1: Xia Sha Pian* was animated by Haoliners Animation League and premiered on Tencent Video in summer 2015. Spanning thirteen episodes, the inaugural season kicked off one of the most culturally significant donghua franchises in modern Chinese animation history.
