Synopsis

A police officer's murder connects to a case involving the Black Organization, the syndicate responsible for shrinking Shinichi Kudo into a child, and this time they are close enough that Conan's cover may not survive. Investigating alongside detectives from multiple prefectures, he has to solve the case while keeping his real identity hidden from people specifically trained to notice inconsistencies. The film escalates into a chase across Tokyo Tower with genuine personal stakes, since exposure here means death rather than embarrassment for everyone standing near him.

⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
The thirteenth Detective Conan film, based on Gosho Aoyama's manga, The Raven Chaser is frequently ranked among fans as one of the strongest entries in the series precisely because it advances the overarching Black Organization plot rather than delivering a standalone mystery. The annual Conan film series is one of the most commercially reliable properties in Japanese cinema, running for decades with consistently strong box office performance. Entries that engage the central conspiracy are generally the ones longtime viewers rank highest. Its willingness to advance the central conspiracy is exactly why fans rank it highly.
