Story

Synopsis

Waking up stark naked in a bizarre futuristic metropolis with zero recollection of their identities, chaotic rogue Retro and mutated mutant Pandy embark on an explosive crime spree. Swiftly captured by militarized police forces, the deranged duo is incarcerated inside Dead Leaves, a dystopian high-security penal colony situated on the fragmented Moon. Discovering that prison authorities conduct grotesque genetic experiments on mutated inmates, Retro and Pandy orchestrate a riotous jailbreak. Armed with heavy firearms and raw adrenaline, the lovers blast through cybernetic wardens to reclaim their freedom and forgotten biological past.

Marking the theatrical directorial debut of celebrated animator Hiroyuki Imaishi, this blistering 2004 science-fiction action short was produced by Production I.G.
