Synopsis

In the seaside town of Yuigahama, young Asumi Kamogawa grows up in the shadow of the tragic Lion space rocket disaster, which claimed many lives, including her mother's. Despite lingering neighborhood sorrow, Asumi dreams of becoming an astronaut, encouraged by the gentle ghost of a deceased pilot who wears a lion mask. Entering the prestigious Tokyo Space Academy's astronaut course, Asumi faces grueling physical endurance tests, simulator challenges, and academic rivalry. Alongside four devoted classmates, Asumi confronts psychological fears, personal trauma, and the immense weight of humanity's cosmic aspirations.
