Synopsis
In the fourth installment of the supernatural action hexalogy, immortal protector Quon Miduchi continues his clandestine war to protect awakened mutant Attractors from the cybernetic hunters of Custos. However, mysterious psychic shockwaves emanate across Tokyo, triggering painful suppressed memories within Quon's mind. Flashing back one thousand years to ancient feudal Japan, Quon recalls the peaceful village where he lived alongside his younger brother Towa. When ancient warlords attacked the settlement, Quon's monstrous powers awakened, leading to an uncontrollable supernatural slaughter that cursed him with eternal life and sorrow.
⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Custos cyborg commander Kamishiro activates the psychic resonant array, using captured mutants to assault Quon's mental stability. Meanwhile, Custos hound Epsilon begins questioning the military's morality after learning that Attractors are merely frightened human children rather than biological weapons. Quon confronts his guilt over his ancient brother's tragic fate, finding the resolve to fight not out of vengeance, but love. Unleashing his blazing crimson battle form, Quon destroys Custos's psychic disruption towers, rescuing newly awakened mutants while preparing for the decisive confrontation awaiting him at the Custos command headquarters.
