Story

Synopsis

Ordinary high schooler Ken Usato is accidentally swept along when school council stars Kazuki and Suzune are summoned as heroes to the Kingdom of Lyngle. Deemed an unneeded tagalong, Usato tests his magical affinity and reveals an extraordinarily rare healing magic aptitude. Rather than living a safe support life, he is instantly abducted by Rose, the terrifying muscular commander of the kingdom's Rescue Team. Rose subjects Usato to sadistic endurance regimens, forcing him to heal his muscle tears continuously while sprinting under heavy boulder loads, transforming him into an unstoppable close-combat battle medic on demon-infested battlefields.

⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Based on Kurokata's action-comedy light novel series illustrated by KeG, this anime was co-produced by Studio Add and Shin-Ei Animation, directed by Takahide Ogami. Broadcasting thirteen episodes between January and March 2024, the television adaptation became a fan favorite for its high-energy training gags, dynamic physical combat animation, and endearing mentor-student dynamic between Usato and Rose. Its strong streaming reception across Crunchyroll led to confirmed plans for continued animated adaptations.
