Synopsis

High school disciplinary committee head Kouta Sakuraba takes student dress codes and academy regulations with utmost seriousness, despite his disastrous clumsiness and tendency to trip over flat surfaces. His primary daily nemesis is Koharu Aoi, an energetic gyaru whose skirt length perpetually violates strict school guidelines. Every morning inspection degenerates into slapstick chaos, flustered stammering, and mutual embarrassment as Kouta attempts to enforce discipline while Koharu playfully teases his earnest innocence. Beneath their daily campus friction, an endearing mutual fondness begins quietly blossoming between the unlikely pair.

Background (may contain spoilers)

Created by manga artist Takuma Yokota and serialized across Kodansha Shounen Sirius editorial channels, *The Klutzy Class Monitor and the Girl with the Short Skirt* was produced as an animated television series by studio Zero-G. Directed by Mitsutoshi Satou, the adaptation utilizes snappy dialogue timing, exaggerated comedic expressions, and vibrant high school aesthetics. The anime charms audiences by combining classic campus disciplinary tropes with warm romantic development and endearing slapstick physical comedy.
