Synopsis

Thirty-four-year-old bachelor Gen Kinokura takes supreme pride in his solitary wilderness camping routine, cherishing tranquil evenings, campfire cooking, and total isolation from modern society. His serene outdoor solitude is disrupted when he rescues Rei Kusano, an enthusiastic twenty-year-old rookie camper stranded without proper equipment or fire-starting skills. Agreeing to establish a compromise known as solo camping for two, the pair pitch separate tents on the same campsite. Savoring campfire craft cuisine and crisp mountain air, the mismatched campers develop mutual respect and subtle romantic warmth.

Adapted from the gourmet outdoor manga created by Yudai Debata and serialized in Kodansha Evening, *Solo Camping for Two* was produced as an animated television series by SynergySP. Directed by Shin Katagai, the series provides authentic wilderness survival guidance, detailed campfire recipes, and picturesque panoramic mountain scenery. Balancing peaceful wilderness escapism with lighthearted adult romantic tension and outdoor culinary exploration, the production delights camping hobbyists and slice-of-life fans across the world.
