Synopsis

Living in the sleek heart of modern Beijing, Miss Puff is a poised, fashionable, and fiercely independent woman who views urban life through an artistic and contemplative lens. Balancing her personal creative career with a lively social calendar, Miss Puff glides between upscale rooftop bars, quiet coffee shops, and bustling subway stations alongside her colorful circle of close female friends. Each episode explores her intimate perspectives on contemporary adult relationships, fleeting romantic encounters, career pressures, and female autonomy. Confronting misunderstandings and the transient nature of big-city dating, Miss Puff maintains an honest, philosophical approach to finding personal fulfillment on her own terms.

⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Miss Puff (Pao Fu Xiaojie) is a landmark Chinese web animated series created and directed by independent animator Pi San (Wang Bo) and produced by Beijing Hulu Culture in partnership with streaming giant Youku. Premiering in 2011, the show was celebrated as one of China's earliest mature, fashion-forward adult web animations, contrasting sharply with the predominantly child-oriented domestic animation market of that era. Its distinctive stylized aesthetic and relatable metropolitan themes spawned eleven seasons, extensive merchandising, and a 2018 live-action feature film.
