At Luna Nova Magical Academy, accident-prone witch Akko Kagari and her loyal roommates Lotte Yanson and Sucy Manbavaran are disciplined for another chaotic classroom disaster. As punishment, the headmistress assigns them to organize the annual historical parade through the neighboring non-magical town of Dunshire. The parade traditionally reenacts the historical persecution and humiliation of witches by non-magical townsfolk. Teaming up with fellow troublemakers Amanda O'Neill, Constanze Braunshbank-Albrechtsberger, and Jasminka Antonenko, Akko resolves to rewrite tradition by turning the humiliating pageant into a dazzling, joyful festival that bridges magic and human friendship.
⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Akko's overbearing ambitions cause a bitter argument with Lotte and Sucy, nearly disbanding the team on the eve of the festival. However, when town bullies steal the Sorcerer's Stone and inadvertently awaken a colossal sleeping Titan beneath Dunshire, Akko leaps into danger to shield the townspeople. Lotte and Sucy arrive with Amanda, Constanze, and Jasminka in a customized magical mecha to assist. Akko harnesses the Shiny Rod, uniting the town's cheer into a radiant burst of magic that pacifies the rampaging Titan, earning the cheering townsfolk's genuine admiration and saving the parade.
