Story

Synopsis

Normal high school girl Shizuka possesses an unfortunate spiritual constitution that acts as an irresistible homing beacon for restless phantoms and malevolent ghosts. Desperate for protection, she takes a part-time job assisting Kamui, an eccentric professional psychic whose supernatural exorcism methods are as astonishing as they are wildly unorthodox. Rather than employing holy chants or paper talismans, Kamui purifies vengeful female spirits through audacious physical seduction and sensual satisfaction. As grotesque urban legends descend upon their agency, Shizuka endures hilarious paranormal chaos while witnessing Kamui liberate restless spirits through scandalous, pleasure-filled exorcisms.

⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Adapted from the supernatural comedy ecchi manga written by Eroki and illustrated by Konoshiro Kanko, *Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san* was animated by studios Zero-G and ZG-R in 2026. Directed as an energetic paranormal comedy, the series gained viral notoriety for parodying traditional ghost hunting tropes with outrageous fanservice, fast slapstick dialogue, and inventive spirit creature designs that captivated comedy and ecchi anime audiences worldwide across streaming platforms, cementing its reputation as a memorable and irreverent comedy.
