Synopsis

Following their epic struggle to safeguard Shibuya from interdimensional destruction, four legendary anime champions, Ken the Eagle, Casshan, Tekkaman, and Polymar, remain vigilant protectors of spacetime peace. However, a sudden spatial anomaly shakes their universe when Ken's former mentor, the revered scientist Dr. Kozaburo Nambu, mysteriously materializes in modern Tokyo. To everyone's disbelief, the trusted mentor now spearheads an authoritarian crusade to subjugate mankind under absolute technological control. Reunited alongside the lethal marksman Joe the Condor, the superhero coalition must navigate divided loyalties and unleash their formidable battle powers to prevent global conquest.

Background (may contain spoilers)

Tatsunoko Production and Digital Frontier produced this full 3D CGI theatrical action film, which premiered in Japanese cinemas in February 2018. Directed by Jun Matsumoto with scripts by Jun Kumagai, the film served as the cinematic climax to Tatsunoko's fifty-fifth anniversary cross-property television series. Featuring high-energy combat choreography, detailed mechanical textures, and explosive visual effects, the feature brought together four iconic Showa-era heroic franchises in a contemporary Hollywood-style superhero blockbuster. Veteran voice talents Tomokazu Seki and Takahiro Sakurai led the dynamic ensemble cast, celebrating Tatsunoko's rich historical anime legacy.
