Synopsis
In a modern world where Vocal Medicine has been established as a legitimate clinical medical practice, gifted singers known as Healers perform harmonious therapeutic songs to soothe human ailments and assist surgical operations. High school student Hibiki Morishima is an energetic apprentice at the Karasuma Vocal Medical Clinic, studying alongside fellow aspiring healers Kana Fujii and Reimi Itsuhiro. Under the kind mentorship of certified master healer Ria Karasuma, the three girls train their vocal harmonies, pitch control, and empathetic listening. Through sincere dedication, they soothe hospital patients with uplifting, soul-healing melodies.
⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Produced by Studio 3Hz and directed by Yasuhiro Irie, *Healer Girl* premiered in spring 2022 as an original musical television anime series. Written by Noboru Kimura with character designs by Yukie Akiya, the production earned warm appreciation for its authentic musical theatre format, featuring frequent, spontaneous lyrical duets and operatic set pieces rather than standard idol pop songs. The voice cast, comprised of the real-life musical vocal unit Healer Girls, delivered stunning acoustic harmonies that elevated the anime gentle, therapeutic medical premise.
