Synopsis

Ten years after the devastating Apocalypse Virus reduced Japan to anarchy, the country is placed under tyrannical martial law enforced by the multinational military coalition GHQ. Reluctant high school student Shu Ouma prefers a quiet life, but his world violently shifts when he rescues Inori Yuzuriha, a wounded singer from the resistance group Funeral Parlor. Inadvertently exposed to the genetic Void Genome, Shu awakens the Power of Kings, enabling him to draw out physical weapons called Voids from human hearts. Recruited by charismatic rebel leader Gai Tsutsugami, Shu fights to liberate his nation.
