Synopsis
High atop Fruit Hill, delicious sentient fruits live peaceful, harmonious lives until the greedy human villain Dongfang Qiubai and his four chaotic thieves invade with mechanical harvesting contraptions. Seeking to transform the peaceful inhabitants into processed juice and profit, the invaders establish oppressive factories across the orchard. Refusing to yield, brave swordsmen Pineapple Blow, Tangerine Cannon, and Apple Kid discover ancient mechanical seeds that summon formidable transforming combat armor. Combining elemental martial arts with giant robot firepower, the courageous fruit warriors defend their lush homeland, teaching young audiences about loyalty, justice, and community preservation.
⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Produced by Guangzhou BlueArc Culture and Kingbee Animation, *Fruity Robo* debuted on Chinese television in 2010 as a major sequel to the hit series *Fruit Master*. Directed by Wang Wei, the 3D computer-animated action comedy became one of the most commercially successful children's franchises in China, spanning multiple sequel seasons, feature films, and extensive toy merchandise lines. The series earned widespread domestic affection for its colorful anthropomorphic fruit designs, clever pop-culture parodies, and surprisingly intricate martial arts mecha combat.
