Story
Synopsis
Saiyan survivor Paragus arrives on Earth, kneeling before Prince Vegeta and inviting him to rule as sovereign of New Planet Vegeta while eliminating a mysterious Super Saiyan ravaging the South Galaxy. Enticed by royal flattery, Vegeta departs alongside Trunks, Gohan, Krillin, and Master Roshi, while Goku investigates the galactic destruction under King Kai's orders. Upon inspecting the desolate world, Goku discovers that New Planet Vegeta is an uninhabitable decoy on a collision course with Comet Camori. Furthermore, Paragus's timid, obedient son Broly conceals a terrifying biological reality that threatens the cosmos.

Goku's presence triggers Broly's dormant fury, shattering Paragus's mind-control crown and allowing Broly to transform into the towering Legendary Super Saiyan. Broly casually overpowers Vegeta, Piccolo, Trunks, and Gohan, effortlessly tanking Goku's point-blank Kamehameha with cruel laughter. As Paragus attempts to flee in an escape pod, Broly crushes the craft and hurls his father into the approaching comet. On the verge of defeat, Vegeta swallows his pride and transfers his remaining energy to Goku. Channeling the combined power of all five Saiyans into a single devastating punch, Goku ruptures Broly's chest, shattering the monster before escaping.
