Synopsis

Fed up with constant parental nagging and academic pressure, Nobita decides to run away from home, only to discover that every parcel of land in modern Japan is privately or publicly owned. Joined by Doraemon, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo, who are equally frustrated, the children travel seventy thousand years back into the past to the late Pleistocene epoch. Creating an untouched private paradise in prehistoric Japan, Nobita uses genetic cloning tools to hatch three mythical pets: Pegasus, Dragon, and Griffin. However, their paradise is threatened when they encounter Kukuru, a primitive boy fleeing the evil shaman Gigazombie.

⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Gigazombie is revealed to be a rogue twenty-third-century time criminal who intends to alter world history by subjugating primitive humanity with future weather control technology. Gigazombie destroys the children's prehistoric camp and imprisons Kukuru's tribe in a frozen fortress. Battling through blizzards, Nobita rallies his mythical beasts and infiltrates the mountain base. Nobita's clone pets sacrifice their freedom to hold back Gigazombie's mammoths, allowing the Time Patrol to arrest the villain. Returning to modern Tokyo, Nobita tearfully bids farewell to his mythical creatures as they are transferred to a safe future sanctuary.
