Story
Synopsis
While Doraemon is asleep, an elusive criminal calling himself Phantom Thief Deluxe sneaks into his bedroom and steals the iconic yellow bell from his collar. Equipped with Sherlock Holmes detective gear, Nobita deduces that the thief fled to the 22nd century's legendary Secret Gadget Museum, an enormous floating facility displaying every inventive tool ever manufactured. Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo travel to the museum, where eccentric curator Director Fiks and apprentice inventor Kurt Hartmann offer them a grand tour while the phantom thief continues stealing rare historical artifacts.

Nobita unmasks Kurt as Phantom Thief Deluxe, discovering the young apprentice fabricated the burglar persona to collect prototype metals needed to repair his grandfather Doctor Peppler's tarnished scientific reputation. When Peppler's experimental gorgon energy generator destabilizes, gargantuan scrap metal monsters threaten to destroy the facility. Utilizing obsolete museum inventions and teamwork, Nobita and friends neutralize the core and save the museum. Doraemon recovers his stolen bell, revealing to Nobita that it contains a tattered childhood ribbon from the rainy afternoon Nobita searched tirelessly to find it.
