Story
Synopsis
While using Doraemon's Time Glue to collect extinct prehistoric wildlife, Nobita accidentally snares a giant moa bird from the prehistoric era. To protect the creature, Doraemon transports Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo to Beragamino Island, a secluded sanctuary sheltered by a magical magnetic forcefield where extinct animals roam freely. On the island, the children meet a young tribal boy named Dakke, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Nobita. The island's tranquility is shattered when ruthless poacher Professor Sherman attacks with heavily armed mechanized walkers to capture the Golden Beetle that grants eternal life.

Doraemon and Nobita discover that Dakke is actually Nobita's father Nobisuke, who was accidentally transported to the island thirty years earlier during his own childhood and suffered temporary amnesia. When Professor Sherman captures the sacred Golden Beetle, causing the island's protective barrier to collapse, Nobita, Dakke, and the island's prehistoric beasts launch a united counterattack. Doraemon uses his secret gadgets to dismantle Sherman's combat robot, allowing Nobita and Dakke to rescue the Golden Beetle and restore the island. Dakke's memories are restored as Time Patrol sends young Nobisuke safely back to his own era.
