Synopsis
Three years after the legendary exploits of Aichi Sendou, middle school student Chrono Shindou leads a solitary, emotionally detached life while living in an orphanage. Chrono's mundane routine changes forever when he discovers an unmarked package in his shoe locker containing an unusual card deck belonging to an unregistered clan known as Gear Chronicle. Guided to the local Card Capital 2 card shop, Chrono takes up the game of Vanguard, quickly demonstrating extraordinary tactical intuition. Teaming up with privileged heir Shion Kiba and driven prodigy Tokoha Anjou to form Team TRY3, Chrono sets out to earn generation quest points and unravel the cosmic mysteries behind Gear Chronicle.
